The Fingal Adult Education Service provides an extensive community education programme for the North Fingal Area. Community education programmes are provided in Balbriggan, Darndale, Rush, Oldtown, Skerries & Swords. The programme is supplemented by the Back to Education Initiative (B.T.E.I). During the 10/11 academic period, through our Community Education budget the programme will cater for approximately 400 learners in various courses run in conjunction with MERNA, BEAG, MS Society, active retirement groups, National Learning Network and the libraries in Swords, Balbriggan and Skerries. And during the same period, through our BTEI Community Strand, we will cater for approximately 80 learners.
