One to One
One to one classes enables the learner to focus on their individual key skills needs in reading, writing, spelling and numeracy. This will enable the learner to improve their confidence in using their key skills in everyday life.
The aim of the creative writing class is to improve key skills through developing expressive writing skills. Learners will be encouraged to use their imagination to both entertain and share human experience, like love or loss through poetry and storytelling.
The family learning programme is delivered in three different components. The aim of the programme is to support parents and guardians of children in Early Start, Junior Infants and Senior Infants to develop in their children a love and appreciation of reading through arts, crafts and books. The programme will also enable parents/guardians and children to identify opportunities for learning in the home and the community. The numeracy programme aims to improve the literacy, language and numeracy skills of parents/guardians. It aims to improve parents’/guardians’ ability to help their children to learn.
